This policy explains what Entyse Lyfe Weddings & Events collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are a wedding and event planning studio based in Temple Hills, Maryland, serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. Specifically:
- Contact and inquiry forms. When you submit a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and any details you share about your event — date, venue or city, guest count, budget range, the kind of help you need, and how you heard about us. Phone number is optional.
- Newsletter and download signups. If you join our mailing list or request a free resource such as the Wedding Day Timeline Blueprint, we collect your first name and email address.
- Consultation bookings. When you book a discovery call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address, chosen time, and anything you write in the booking questions.
- Payment information. If you purchase from us, payment details are entered directly into our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic site data. Standard server logs and cookies, described in section 6.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and talk with you about your event.
- To send the resource you requested.
- To send occasional planning tips and event announcements, if you opted in. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To plan and run your event if you become a client.
- To process payments.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
3. Who We Share It With
We use a small number of third-party services to run the business. Each one only receives what it needs:
- Mailchimp — email addresses and names for our mailing list.
- Calendly — booking details for discovery calls.
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type, general location, how you found us) so we can see what is useful on the site. Google does not receive your name, email, or anything you type into a form.
- Our website host — form submissions are stored in the site database.
- Payment processors (Stripe, Square, or PayPal, depending on how you pay) — payment details, handled entirely on their systems.
- Vendors on your event — if you hire us, we share only what a vendor needs to do their job on your day, such as a venue address, timeline, or contact number.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
4. Data Security
This site runs over an encrypted connection, and access to form submissions is limited to Entyse Lyfe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us and we do not keep information longer than we need it.
5. Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link at the bottom of any email, or by asking us directly. Email hello@entyselyfe.com and we will take care of it.
6. Cookies
This site uses cookies in two ways:
- Essential cookies keep the site working as you move between pages, remember that you have already seen a pop-up, and protect our forms from spam.
- Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics so we can understand how people use the site — which pages get read, roughly where visitors are located, and how they found us. This data is aggregated and anonymous to us.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. If you would rather not be counted in our analytics, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work either way.
One more small thing: this site uses your browser’s local storage to remember that you’ve closed a popup, so it doesn’t reappear on every page. That flag stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
